Pol-Ease 2500 Release Agent

Pol-Ease® 2500 Release Agent is an aerosol spray release agent that can be washed off models and castings, making it the preferred choice when castings need to be painted.

For Mold Making: Apply to non-porous or sealed models when making silicone rubber molds (not recommended for use with liquid polyurethane rubbers).

For Casting:

1. Apply to silicone rubber molds when casting liquid silicone rubber.

2. To extend mold life, apply to silicone molds when casting materials such as polyurethane plastics, rubbers, or epoxies (release agent is not needed for this process, but can extend mold life).

3. Apply to polyurethane molds before casting polyurethane liquid plastics (Pol-Ease® 2500 allows for easier cleaning of cast parts when painting is necessary, although mold life may be shorter compared to using Pol-Ease® 2300).

After spraying, brush out this release agent with a soft brush to help improve results. No drying time necessary.
